15-5 PH Bar

1 . Descriptions:

15-5 PH stainless steel was designed to have greater toughness than 17-4 PH. The 15-5 alloy is martens tic in structure in the annealed condition and is further strengthened by a relatively low temperature heat treatment which precipitates a copper containing phase in the alloy. 15-5 is also referred to as XM-12 in some specifications. wuxi tp inox co.,ltd also offer 15-5ph UNS S15500 Grade XM-12 Round Bars. The processes outlined below are known as Cold Finish processes or the end products are known as cold finished because there is no or very little heat applied in the entire operation of converting them from hot rolled bars (also known as black bars) to 15-5ph UNS S15500 Grade XM-12 Round Bars. 15-5ph UNS S15500 Grade XM-12 Round Bars is decaled pulled through Tungsten Carbide or High Speed Steel Die, straightened & cut-to-length; Improves dimensional tolerance and shape, straightness, surface finish, strength and machine ability. Remove bar surface of 15-5ph UNS S15500 Grade XM-12 Round Bars with revolving cutting tool, rotate bar through rolls to straighten and polish, then cut-to-length.
